Department of Food and Public Distribution
As part of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, the objective of this Department is to ensure food security for the country through timely and efficient procurement and distribution of food grains.
Ministry of Women and Child Development
A key programme of this Ministry is the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), which provides food, preschool education, and primary healthcare to children under 6 years of age and their mothers.

Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition is a Swiss foundation headquartered in Geneva with a special international status granted by the Swiss Government. GAIN was created in 2002 at a Special Session of the UN General Assembly on Children. It is an alliance driven by the vision of a world without malnutrition.

As a pioneer of rice fortification technology, PATH has played a leading role in making this innovation ready for large-scale adoption.
World Bank Group
The World Bank Group, is an international development institution, comprising 189 member countries. The Bank, galvanizes international and national efforts, towards achieving its mission - to end extreme poverty within a generation and to promote shared prosperity. It does so by providing governments with an integrated package of financing, advisory services, and knowledge, tailored to the development needs of each country. The Bank?s first loan to India was given in 1949 to refurbish the Indian Railways. Over the years, the World Bank in India has financed a number of large projects - to build infrastructure, generate power, produce iron and steel, upgrade the ports, and support the Green and White Revolutions. Projects have also supported inclusive growth by helping expand access to education, tackle disease, improve nutrition, raise agricultural productivity, improve rural connectivity, and bring much-needed water supply and sanitation to village households.

World Food Programme (WFP)
The World Food Programme is the world?s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. WFP is part of the United Nations system and is voluntarily funded. Born in 1961, WFP pursues a vision of the world in which every man, woman and child has access at all times to the food needed for an active and healthy life.
The Global Child Nutrition Foundation (GCNF)
The Global Child Nutrition Foundation (GCNF) is a global network of governments, businesses, and civil society organizations working together to support school meal programs that help children and communities thrive. GCNF provides training, technical assistance, and networking opportunities to help governments build national school meal programs that are nutritious, locally-sourced, and ultimately independent from international aid.
The Food Fortification Initiative (FFI)
The Food Fortification Initiative (FFI) champions effective grain fortification around the world so people have the nutrition they need to be smarter, stronger, and healthier. For nearly 20 years, FFI has worked with public, private, and civic partners to improve the lives of millions of people through large-scale food fortification. FFI has been a key partner for the state of Haryana since 2015, helping to plan, implement, monitor, and scale-up fortification efforts through the state’s social safety net programs.
